Some dolts are (of course) are complaining it looks too clean, but a) a lot of the novel plays in corporations and IN SPAAAAACE, and b) I think there is a bit of Blade Runner imagery doing its thing in their minds...

I could never get into the book. I remember back during my first time at university how my criticism of the notion of a Rastafarian space colony caused outrage; considering the combination of ritualistic smoking of cannabis with orbital space stations to be silly and immersion breaking was apparently too awful for words.
