Can this be canon.

Photo: Before the outbreak of World War III in September 1985, the British Army’s new Challenger tank was demonstrated in Egypt with hope of a sale, but the outbreak cancel the sale as the United Kingdom stopped sales in order to allacht all tanks production for its own and allied use, Egypt tried then to buy the American M1A1 Abrams but the Americans also could not sale any tanks due the war, so the French stepped in with a offer Egypt could not refuse, their latest Leclerc with a own production line set up in Egypt.

And this one:

Photo: The Ladoga, a Soviet APC based on the T-80, driving near Chernobyl, Ukrainian SSR in 1986 after the The Chernobyl Raid. The Ladoga with the callsign 317 was used at the power plant to conduct reconnaissance of the area, the vehicle was not alone and had a full CBRN company along with it, including decontamination systems as well as doctors and support troops. Supposedly the Ladoga even conducted extreme close up reconnaissance of the damaged power plant.

How's this: The Egyptians go along initially with the LeClerc deal, but cancel it after the war when they see how well the M-1A1 did. The LeClerc wasn't ready for the East European Campaign in 1989, and the French still fought with AMX-30s.
The difference between diplomacy and war is this: Diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to hell so elegantly that they pack for the trip.
War is bringing hell down on that someone.

Okay, that could work, but the war is four years long and Egypt has no way to get tanks from the Soviet Union and also has to deal with Libya.

They were already receiving M-60s from the U.S. from 1980 until the war began.

A lot of going up and down. When I went last year, I enjoyed it and will hit it again.

She’s got the actual Tomcat used in the filming of TOP GUN spotted where Cat 2 used to be.

If I may pay tour guide. The state aquarium is next door to the Lexington.

Also south of Corpus Christie is Kingsville and the King Ranch.

https://king-ranch.com/. There are tours twice daily. I've been there five times, and found it interesting every trip. In Kingsville, you have the King Ranch Museum and Store.

Farther south, is Kenedy Foundation Ranch. I haven't been there, but will hit it on my next trip. https://kenedy.org/kenedy-ranch/

The State Aquarium is where I spent that afternoon.
