So it was the Soviet squadron out of Tartus naval base together with whatever the Libyan Navy operated.

Was this like Red Storm Rising, Iceland operation with a container ship landing after a heavy attack of Submarine and aircraft launch cruise missiles against Gibraltar.

Then we have to wait to see what Bernhard has to say.

I thought it was a nerve gag attack, but the bug makes more sense since it would be easier to clean out by the attackers.

Can somebody remind the posters on AH.com not to show any pictures that might turn ugly, Calbear already made it clear in a other thread he does not like to see photos of real life victims being posted as AH.

I just sent Calbear a message asking for his assistance with regards to this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

1. You saw a problem.

2. You discussed it with people you trust.

3. You brought it to the people who needed to know.

4. Action was taken to resolve the problem.

You did the right thing in my opinion.

Thanks, but 1) we speak about Calbear and 2) the thread has a lot of content, it is a shame if it is locked due to some members posting images that do not need to be posted there.

It would depend on who needs to butter Pakistan up.

The Brits would sell their stuff to India, while Pakistan would get their gear from whoever's willing to make some money.

Has anyone checked the Wayback Machine recently? I had a battleship fact file for the Iowas, but no longer have it.

Two questions, one would this be correct for a photo text.

Photo: One of the RAAF's first F/A-18Bs in October 1985, just in time to see service when World War III broke out in September 1985, a total of 57 F/A-18As and 18 F/A-18Ba where ordered to replace the RAAF's Dassault Mirage III fighters but US Navy for a while received priority over delivery until production lines where well establish to also deliver the F-18s to the RAAF.

Did the RAAF get more F-18s then otl and did the Mirage III remain in service with the RAAF during World War III.

They got a squadron's worth, with the balance of the order delivered-along with a second order-after the war.
