Yearly commute into the office, 2kg of sweets delivered for colleagues. Seems I brought the rain.

Flying back to UK in 2 weeks, probably be a bit more knowledgeable about bourbon than before.

In fairness, Kentucky is a good place to learn about bourbon.

Just remember Louisville’s unofficial motto: fast women, beautiful horses and strong whiskey.

Non-Kentucky bourbon is heresy and an affront to God.

I'd argue, but I'm driving through Tennessee and Kentucky this fall. They can give us Irish lesson on how to hold grudges.

Hatields and McCoys for starters. Everytime I sniff a bottle of Makers it takes me home. I'll be there sometime in March to visit mom, maybe I'll go to Makers Mark distillery while I'm home.

Work colleague has a makers mark bourbon distillery tour lined up.

Plus an increasing number of guns.

Culturally I think I fit in well with the new team :)

Note, interesting Scandinavian / Sliders pub they have here, good food and good beer.
