The Weinie 500
I hereby present, for the board's consumption, a replay of the Weinie 500, one of the great, if sadly under publicized, races of our time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMyES63Rgvg
To whet your appetite, the first 3 seconds of that video show an ancient lady screaming "Weinies, Start Your Engines!".
Apparently, the powers that be gathered the entire fleet of Oscar Meyer Weiniemobiles at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as a publicity stunt ahead of the Indy 500 today. I have NO idea how they were able to get three broadcasters, one of them British, to cover a two lap race of hotdog-omorphic vehicles to keep a straight face whilst delivering an inordinate amount of racing, hot dog, and penis related puns.
It is WELL worth the 10 and a half minutes of your day to watch this travesty against man, nature and motor sports.

The surprising thing isn't the race, but the fact it took this long run it.

Awesome! Loved it.
Hats off to the announcers and the crowd clearly loved it!
The last one in the race was in a pickle and working hard to catch up….

....And you know, only now has it occurred to me that Oscar Meyer/Kraft should have shoveled out as much money as it took to get Clarkson, Hammond, and May to call the race.
Woulda been EPIC.

My mom and I were in Pennsylvania to purchase fireworks the day it was run. We were unable to find it live on TV at that time, but the guy sitting next to us was a retired state cop who claimed to have given one of them a ticket back in the day for, get this, SPEEDING.
