...A gentleman I've known for 53 years - he was best man when I married She Who Must Be Obeyed, unofficial godfather to M2 - went down with a stroke this morning. He is at Cleveland Clinic, so the literal best in the world are looking out for him. He's stable, no muscular paralysis but unable to get out more than a word or two and the docs are looking at a possible brain bleed. It'll be several hours yet before we get some solid facts.

He's a good man; his wife is a remarkable woman in her own right. They've been together since 1981. Please send whatever prayers you can.
