I don’t necessarily imagine that anyone here has heard of Andy Williams aka ”The Butcher” but he had a semi-high profile from 2019-2025 when he appeared on TV and PPV in AEW. He was also the rhytm guitarist in the metal band Every Time I Die.
Yesterday he died in the ring while appearing for the indie promotion Enjoy Wrestling in Millvale, Pennsylvania. Per EMS dispatch audio obtained by TMZ he hit his head on a ring post, apparently causing him to pass away.
Despite his scary persona he was reportedly a well liked and friendly guy in real life. So I think it is apt to note his passing with condolences to his near and dear.
