Had an amusing incident where I work overnight last night.
One of our tenants rang the out of hours on call number to report a problem: the TV remote control had gone down the back of the radiator and got stuck!! it had to be pointed out to said tenant that the TV remote control getting stuck behind the radiator is not an emergency requiring the immediate call out of a plumber to take the radiator off!
It's staggering what distorted perspectives some people have of what constitutes an "emergency" isn't it.

Was, perhaps, alcohol involved?

A yardstick or (metric version), can't force it up or out?
