Face-palm...

Following roof repair, I decided to supplement bedroom wardrobe space with a couple, okay *three*, budget flat-pack units. I'd free up wall-space by shuffling 'trad' mid-century dressing-table into bay-window angle, partly behind Kath's large L-shaped desk.

Latter currently inaccessible due laden 'rolling rail'. And *that* was a 'Just for a couple of months' which sorta took root....

Okay, I *first* had to fit the dressing table with two sets of four castors but, hey, I could raise on bricks to get access. Then triple-through-bolt each castor, to be sure, to be sure: High-tensile M4 nuts and bolts, 'mending washers' as load spreaders, much fumbling. Small, L-shaped 'box spanners' for the win...

So, after un-packing both vast boxes of first wardrobe and toting complex contents up-stairs an armful at a time, I boot 'Ikea mode'.

Wardrobe has two deep drawers beneath the hanging space.
First problem: Instructions *strongly recommend* assembly by two people. Solo ? No-go !
But I did it anyway. Made careful notes of ensuing failure modes...
Second problem: Drawers do not close, but leave a finger-width gap.
WTF ??
Took a couple of days, but finally dawned on me that, *just perhaps*, those drawer-fronts were subtly 'handed'.
Yes, L & R fronts were offset by about ¼ inch. About the width of dowel-peg, in fact.
FACE-PALM !!!
As they were only held on by four-each of those oft-exasperating 'pillar and inset turn-clasp' fixings, took me longer to warily un-fold my [REDACTED] ankle-biting 'Workmate' to stand drawers than swap those fronts.
Now, flush.
And, yet-another essential annotation added to the assembly instructions...

Taking a few days before tackling next wardrobe to work on 'Fresno' #106 lest edit buffer deplete...
