Happy US 4th of July
Normally I go with a "Happy Treason Day, You ungrateful peasants" meme. For some reason it doesn't work as well with His Majesty as it did with Her Majesty.

Holiday Weekend Safety Brief!
1. Do not add to the population.
2. Do not subtract from the population.
3. Do not do both 1 and 2 and then claim to be Net Zero.
4. Do not end up in the newspaper, hospital, morgue, or jail.
5. If you end up in jail, establish dominance quickly.

MikeWe shall nobly save, or meanly lose, the last best hope of earth. Other means may succeed; this could not fail. The way is plain, peaceful, generous, just -- a way which, if followed, the world will forever applaud, and God must forever bless.

The Ready Room is! The E-2 Ready Room has been renovated into a great museum about the Hummer squadrons and the people. The Association raised the funds and lotsa of momentos honoring a lot of the leaders in the community who donated at various levels have different things. I knew and flew with a lot of those whose names are on the chairs. There is a plaque honoring a lot of us who donated at one of the levels. so my name will hang there on the plaque in the Liberty Bell Ready Room for as long as the Midway Museum is there.Craiglxviii wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 11:46 amI wonder if your office is still there?Nightwatch2 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 4:36 pmOn the Midway?

I’m a life member of the Midway Museum Association, of course.
It’s a great day trip for anyone in San Diego.
And of course, up the coast is another one of my former residences as a museum, USS Iowa.
Thank you for this shameless commercial minute. We now return you to our regular programming.

CIC is a nice setup as well, showing how she was during her Gulf War days.Nightwatch2 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 12:39 pmThe Ready Room is!
