Well, we’ve taken the plunge adopted a new cat. Please meet Lucy, aka Lucy Purrsley. She has to the vet on Monday for a check-up, so we should be able to bring her home early next week.

I see she prefers the 'cat bun' relaxation mode over the 'full sploot' or the 'side-lying pointy ends out' mode. Is the temperature running a bit cool?

Temperature was quite warm when I took that. She just likes making cat loaves.

Thank you. The mouse ‘friend’ she made on Saturday morning might not agree, though!
Thankfully, AFAIK, the mouse came to know harm. Despite evidently being the dumbest mouse in the U.K. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to run towards a cat, multiple times!
