International Panic Day is a fun way to recognize stress and anxiety. To find comfort, tackle worries and anxieties honestly, sometimes via humour or creativity. It may seem contradictory, but the day promotes mental wellness and acknowledges that it's good to be overwhelmed.

International Panic Day 2024

In 2024, international panic day is observed on June 18, 2024 and the day should be leveraged to self-reflect on mental wellness and create a safe space around the same.

Why it is important?

Mental health is still a stigma in India and this is high time for us to a create a safe space where open and transparent interactions can happen and issues can be managed proactively and in personalized manner.
As per WHO, average suicide rate in India is 10.9 for every lakh people and this is quite alarming trend and we need to awake and act now on this.

As per a retrospective study at NumroVani, 95% people at workplace face one or other mental health issues atleast once in their work career and a majority of them (4 in 5) do not seek any expert help for them and simply ignores them.

India being youngest nation of world, it is high time for us to be recognize this and act in present to make future healthier.
