Celestis Memorial Flight

[Nightwatch2]

The Vulcan lunar launch is carrying memorial ashes of many into orbit, Lunar landing and deep space

The participants include quite a lot of notable people including astronauts and Star Trek cast

And my brother. Bon Voyage!

During a flight delay the option opened up for more and my sister asked my father (now recently passed) if he would like to go too. With that she collected hair from him and kids.

So I made it into space by a hair.

...I wish we'd have thought to do this for my Dad - he retired from NASA, and he did a lot of the design for what he always called the 'luggage racks' - the experiment and equipment racks for the Shuttle and ISS, and he would have gotten a kick out of going out there.
