I'm driving from Houston to Indiana to see my sister and her family for Thanksgiving. Two things, one I drove past the Remington Ammo plant, I don't think they were working, but given the traffic I can't be sure.

One stretch of I-40 was named for Trooper Clark Kent Simpson. I suspect that's where he was killed when his squad car was hit by a semi. https://www.odmp.org/officer/12267-troo ... nt-simpson

Why would anyone give a son with first name of Clark the middle name of Kent?

Then again, I at one time worked with James Bond, and yes he was in a security related field.

Yeah we had a guy at work named Richard Johnson (they called him "Redundant" behind his back) and we had a teacher in high school named Richard Weed. Both went by Dick, of course.

My high school choir teacher was named Richard P. Eckstein.

We, of course, assumed that his middle name was Peter, so we called him Dick-Dick.

Turns out that his middle name was actually Paige.
