That should bring it down to 19 B-2s left I think.
B-21 Raider Rollout
Re: B-21 Raider Rollout
The sooner the B-21 shows up the better, because it’s looking like another B-2 may be a write off following a less than optimal landing.

That should bring it down to 19 B-2s left I think.

Re: B-21 Raider Rollout
Possibly 18.
Spirit of Kansas was written off in 2008, but it was burned out.
Spirit of Georgia made an emergency landing back in 2021 and went off the runway when the left landing gear failed. The repair estimate is over $10 million. It just flew back to Palmdale for repairs in September 2022.
My guess would be the this one will end up back at Palmdale as well. Unless it's a total write off, we fix them. Spirit of Washington had a fire back in February 2010 and didn't return to service until December 2013. And that one spent 18 months getting temporary repairs on Guam before flying back to the US for full repairs.

*disappointed noises*
Someone screwed up then. Who was in charge of naming the B-2 fleet back in the day? I feel some interservice cooperation is required and the Air Force needs to borrow a carrier for a keelhauling.
