A remake is unlikely. Anyway a fine musical with baby face Clint and Lee Marvin doing a comic turn, or two, and doing their own singing.

It's even woke, let's see, woman resists the patriarchy by leaving polygamous marriage, and sets up polyandrous relationship (with two rich men) while sex workers are empowered to set up their own businesses in unexploited market.

And it has one of the absolute best Western funeral scenes of all time.

...This was one of my Dad's favorite movies, and I grew up with the original Broadway cast recording. Wonderful memories of riding the Ohio Turnpike to Grammy's house on Sundays and all of us belting out, "There's A Coach Comin' In'.
