This morning OC BBMF flew out in Spitfire AB910 to greet the
@Airbus
Messerschmitt Foundation Me262 replica ahead of its arrival to RIAT. The Me262 and our spitfire took part in an air to air photography shoot to mark the rare occasion of these two aircraft types flying together!

I vaguely recall something about some British idea to mobilize Spitfires during the Gulf War, to hunt drones with. Just wait until someone comes up with the equivalent idea in Ukraine.

I'm still waiting for Ukraine to weld up a bunch of valve-less pulse-jets and send them East.

Don't even need war-heads: Recipients gotta 'honour the threat' lest they have 'terminal guidance', or simply crash, burn great swathes of summer-parched fields...
