Sword of Temporal Justice is surprisingly restrained.

What's with the fluffy stuff on those Swedish swords?

Not sure, I’ve just put it down to 16th century fashion choices.

[Edit] They’re apparently a ”later addition” which from context I think in this case means 18th century. I saw one thing that suggested that they’re supposed to represent a lion’s mane, not sure if that’s true or not.

Serious answer? As the Russians are currently discovering, doing long-term storage is expensive and bringing stuff back from it is even worse. That goes double if you've got small orphan fleets as we tend to: spare parts for M109 are easy, AS-90 or Abbot much less so.
We're currently in the process of both screwing up and fixing it at the same time on different fleets, but that's another thread.

Well. I remember the fuss made about the costs for putting 2/3 of the Chally2 fleet into environmentally controlled storage. And then they screwed up the storage…

I seem to recall Warton doing similar with Tonka airframes too!
