2020 archive (I think)
Well. Theodore has been kind and gracious enough to send me his last-copied download of the old Board. I’m unsure if this is the last interaction or the one before it.
Our helpful IT guy is working on setting this up as an archive, accessible via a link presumably from some launching page.
I’ll keep you all updated on the progress of this.

I'd like to second James' question.
The difference between diplomacy and war is this: Diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to hell so elegantly that they pack for the trip.
War is bringing hell down on that someone.

We have the data from Theo. Ryan is going through it now, has posted several threads out of it but has found a fault; we only get 297MB out of 3.3GB before “unexpected end of data”.
Now trying to solve that.

Ryan extracted some files and has posted them in the essays section. Unfortunately we’re still stuck with being unable to get much beyond that. I’ve also sent the database over to the IT support people to see if they can extract more.
So if anyone knows how to extract data out of an SQL database (I think!) which continues to give an error message, please let me know.

I don't suppose there is any good news on this front?

And on a related note, is the member list included in the archive? If member registration emails can be accessed, we might be able to track down some of our lost sheep.

No, unfortunately we have hit the limits of the archive.
I don’t know on member lists, but can find out.
