Not too bad here in Virginia, temps ranging from the mid-upper 80s to the mid upper 90s with humidity to match creating "feels like temps" in the lower 100s. Saw an article from the Smithsonian talking about lower levels in the Danube endangering a Romanian nuclear power plant, revealing w...

Um, given a 'New Yorktown' sounds so much like a 'New York Town', against which current POTUS carries yet-another petulant grudge, not gonna happen. Snark: Of course, could just lay keel as 'Item 2026'. And, by the time some-one gets to swing the bottle of bubble, DJT will be dead, buried and safel...

New Yorktown?
The local paper Daily Press (Depress) published an article on 18 March 2026 that advocates are pushing for the next name for a Ford class ship be Yorktown. This would be the 6th ship to bear the name, their hope is that said ship would be commissioned in time for the 250th anniversary of the Battle ...

Excellent Collection. Chicago II IMO is their best, Sold our Souls for Rock and Roll (early greatest hits is a good choice sans getting the library). Aqualung is a solid Choice. For CDB I liked Million Mile Reflections a little better. You got the best of Roger Waters' Pink Floyd, the two after are ...

Re: A question for modelers
I am in an interesting position right now regarding modelling. I have not done any for maybe 20 years. The last was, bear with me, my 40K space doggies army. If I want to start modelling again I have Tamiya, prob 1/48, kits for F16A, A10 and F15E. And 5 1/700 WW2 battleships. But all paints, washes...
