We Have Engaged the Board

https://wolf359project.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/We-Have-Engaged-the-Borg.pdf I just found out about this last weekend and spent the weekend reading it. A fantastic piece going into the leadup, battle, and repercussions of the Battle of Wolf 359. In the post-9/11 world this really hits home as ...

Re: House of Dynamite

Has anyone else watched this yet? I watched this over the weekend and overall I thought it was a good movie. I have some opinions on parts of this, but I'd like to see what other people have to say. At the very least, it shows why you need a multi-layer missile defense system. Overall I also though...

Didn’t we have a WW2 Russian fighter pilot becoming long-lived? I’m sure there was a short story about it.
Paul Lazuruski I believe his last name was. He was a fighter and test pilot from the stories set in the 50s and 60s. He eventually became Lilith's partner and shows up occasionally.

I know I'm not the most active here, but I've been wanting to go there and it's only a few hours from me. I'd definitely be interested.

Re: Apollo 13

It's a phenomenal movie, I remember seeing it with my dad way back when. Gene Krantz is from Toledo and gave the commencement speech at the Engineering College in the morning the day I graduated in 2010. I got the former Treasury Secretary John Snow's sister who complained about Bush a bit. Still, i...

Re: ...On Transporters....

I did find the planetside transporters interesting in Picard, one of it's few good ideas. That would make travel around the planet quick and easy. If there ever is follow-on from Picard (let's hope not), there should be some fallout from the transporters/Borg issue. If anything, that should make tra...

Re: KNOW YOUR ADVERSARIES: The Klingons

Did we ever get any additional information on the Old Kings and the dying stars? That sounds kind of interesting and I'm wondering if there was ever anything written on it.

Battle of Sagami Bay

Thanks to MKSheppard for reposting these stories. I've seen mention of the Battle of Sagami Bay as a climatic final battle of the Pacific War. Several US Battleships were sunk that day according to fact files, but has there ever been an Order of Battle created for Sagami Bay? At least one with the b...
