Sounds like a Mythbusters segment when a kid wanted them to blow his family's car up. They did it twice, once Hollywood style with Gasoline to get the fireball, second time C-4.

My standard response to that sort of thing is ...
"It wasn't me. You can't prove it. I was out of the country anyway!"
It stems from a very psycho ex who was intent on blaming her STD in 2003 on me from when we dated a decade earlier, rather than her philandering husband.
After a number of unpleasant phone calls I finally gave her that line and hung up.
She immediately called me back to yell at me and I interrupted her to tell her that her hubby was banging someone else, and if she didn't want to catch another STD, she needed to divorce his sorry ass.
I've never heard from her again!
