Good Boy
Good Boy is a surprisingly good low budget movie that tells what would be a fairly conventional haunted house story except for the fact that its told from the perspective of a dog. Shot almost entirely from a dog's low-slung perspective, this is barely 70 minutes this movie had a 400 day shoot sprea...

Re: A question for modelers
Psychologically donating stuff is easier then just throwing it away in my expierance I found that detonating stuff was the best of all - sort of a cathartic logans run RENEW Well, lets be honest. Dying in battle was a much better end for HMS Hood then being turned into razor blades... *(obviously i...

Official trailer for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy
So Starfleet Academy is coming out soon, we now have a official trailer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHDDzcyNWGs&t=11s I will say this, Paramount is willing to take chances with the intellectual property of Star Trek. Big.......BIG chances. (In fairness I've liked some parts of Lower Decks )...

Re: Inside Sweden’s secret Cold War plan to resist a Soviet invasion
Interesting, and a very different perspective from someone from the US during the cold war. Actually rubbing shoulders with the USSR would have sucked, and thats putting it mildly. I can't pretend I can fully understand what Sweden went through. I did have family in Switzerland during WW2, and got a...

I suspect even those who spent their entire lives studying barnacles were gob-smacked to find out that Sacculina is a barnacle as well.

Nice shot. Kinda bittersweet since it will soon be all but impossible to distinguish real from Ai photos like this.

Re: Alien: Earth
OK, I just finished the series, and honestly I was disappointed in the finale. I knew that having devoted 5 of 8 episodes to pure setup and 1 episode to a flashback, they would be hard pressed to actually wrap everything up well, but I didn't expect the entire series to be a setup for a 2nd hopeful ...

Re: Alien: Earth
I did see a serious attempt at explaining it by conjecturing that the corporations run their own schools to train the only people moronic/desperate enough to sign up for these mad missions, and this is the result that you get. I also saw someone suggest that their biohazard safety manual is a yello...

Re: Alien: Earth
Yeah, I know the franchise is big on the incompetence of humans leading to their downfall but yikes, some of these crew react to other members being killed by something that is still actively loose and going to kill the rest of them with mild annoyance.
Im digging the eye creature though.

Re: The Holy Grail of Naval Artifacts
Whenever I hear someone say..."why didn't they preserve the HMS Warspite (insert any historical ship here)...I'll always remember we turned Enterprise into razor blades...
