The new Green Lantern based tv series is a far cry from the rather underwhelming movie that came some years ago. It’s actually good. Think superhero show with True Detective vibes to it. A tad dark and gritty, but also funny, and properly cast. Kyle Chandler particularly excels in the role of Hal Jordan but the rest are doing a fine job as well. I recommend giving it a try if this sounds like it’s up your alley.

I binged the first 3 episodes and got hooked on it.

One thing I hope is that eventually, in this series or a movie, they recreate a scene from Justice League #5 (1987). Guy Gardner is being more than his usual jerk and Batman knocked him out with one punch.
