What the heck is this glassware?

My alma mater's chemistry department is having a reorganisation and they're moving stuff around, including some of the glass blower's store. And yes they DO have a glass blower on staff to produce some of the crazy glassware the mad scientists need for experiments. The issue is that they have no idea what some of the glassware in the store is! So Martyn Poliakoff has made a video showing the mystery glassware and asking people what on earth it is?
Poliakoff is a good lecturer. From my interactions with him in undergraduate labs, lectures and tutorials he's also a nice bloke. There are some VERY weird contraptions shown in this video. Nevertheless I've seen one of them definitely identified in the comments, and one quite possibly identified.
