So let's put this genital stuffing scandal to rest. It isn't what they're saying.

So on January 15, three Norwegian officials, including two coaches and one suit technician were suspended 18 months for using non-elastic stitching into the crotch areas of ski jumping suits. The suits had been previously inspected and approved. This was so that the crotch area did not conform to the underlying anatomy, creating a 'tunnel' effect like on the F14, and providing better aerodynamics. The two ski jumpers denied knowing about the manipulation and agreed to three month suspensions starting in August, meaning they're free to compete in the Olympics.

So reading over developments in this case, the mystery is swelling.

All of the other articles I've seen are simply quoting or referring to the Bild article. WADA has no useful statement, except that they haven't heard of this. There are no specifics of which team(s) or which athletes are supposedly enhancing. Just pointed statements that 'somebody' is doing so.

Bild is also about as reliable in news reporting as The Sun or Pravda, so there's that.

The only thing that is known for certain is that regardless of what's happening, French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati is definitely not involved.

Thought I remembered Bild as a bit dodgy as a source. Hence mentioning it.
