Good Boy is a surprisingly good low budget movie that tells what would be a fairly conventional haunted house story except for the fact that its told from the perspective of a dog. Shot almost entirely from a dog's low-slung perspective, this is barely 70 minutes this movie had a 400 day shoot spread over 4 years largely to get the emotive responses of the dog right. The dog (Named Indy) is actually the directors Ben Leonberg's actual dog, and honestly he gets a great performance out of Indy. Some might argue the movie is a one trick pony, and honestly if it didn't have the novel perspective it would likely disappear without anyone really noticing, but the one trick it has is surprisingly good, and gives the climax of the movie a rather vicious gut punch, one that I will remember a long time.

(I await a AI generated parody of a similar situation but with a cat, with the cat giving ZFG the his owner is being terrorized by a demon, at least until his food bowel is empty.)
