Seeing some promise here, the Weyland-Yutani android portrayed by Elle Fanning looking potentially to be the most interesting aspect.

She does have a bit of an attitude and a mouth even if she is only half there.

It’s on Disney+ now so I finally got around to watching it. I would say it’s quite good, entertaining, cool action, and with some humor. Elle Fanning does a great job. They even managed to get the CGI to not look crappy unlike many other movies from the last few years.

Agreed
While I do understand some of the criticism against it, in particular no predator movies should ever be pg with "cute" anything, the bottom line is the movies desperately needed to have the predator win, the villain decay has really been bad. I also loved the movie actually had a masculine heros journey done with no irony. As a result i liked it far better then I expected. Well done. Just make sure the next ones goes back to ripping people's skulls out for trophies.
