The US C14 Internal Combustion Catapult has been brought up on the Secret Projects website and there is now a thread about it

How do IC catapults compare to steam and EM cats?

What would be the implications, especially for other navies, of a working IC catapult?

Not sure, I know that HM Submarine M-2 had a cordite-powered catapult for her seaplane.
