Tally Ho

Some people might remember this from the previous board when there was a topic on it. A brit comes over to the US and buys a very old and famous wooden sailing boat for $1 and has spent the last 7-years rebuilding her from the keel up. He had gotten her back in the water a couple of months ago and they took her out and raised her sails again. Long time coming from when I first started watching this channel. Tally Ho has been beautifully restored.

To be more specific, Tally Ho was restored as a Ship of Theseus problem. The amount of original material in her is less than 10%, and mostly includes incidental pieces.

Not that it isn't a grand project.

The last several days Tally Ho has been in San Diego and they made a stop today at the San Diego Maritime Museum. Got to visit up close "Tally Ho" and talk briefly with Leo and I thanked him for sharing the story of his rebuild of "Tally Ho". Tomorrow they are leaving for Mexico as they make there down to the Panama Canal and eventually back to the UK. Overall it was a gorgeous day afternoon to be down by the water-front and the wife and I had a early dinner along the waterfront after the museum visit.
