Do we all have to smell of diesel & cabbage and look like an uncooked chip (chunky French fry)?

Funny thing….our O-boats had all of the British fittings including a sign in the accommodation space advertising the “joint of the day”. Every inspection was either “Jamaican Red” or “Colombian Green”.
I should have gone home after I found out today was submariner day. I’m trying to install some software and there are only two options, both of which violate our sysadmin standards. I asked them how would they like to be violated and they won’t talk to me any more.
