Gentlemen and Ladies.

Is anyone having issues with facebook right now? I had two tabs open, playing a game in each one. It logged me out of one, and won't let me log in to facebook at all, but the other game seems to be working fine.

In fear that someone is trying to steal my account, I have done the "forgot password" thing, and they sent me a code. I entered the code, and it told me I needed to send them my ID and then told me that feature was broken.

Any advice?

Yeah, there appears to be an outage.

Down Detector shows over 350,000 reports.

Ah, then I don't need to freak out yet.

We'll see what happens next.

Please someone pay attention to the HPCA facebook page to see if my account starts posting stupid crap that is oddly different from the regularly stupid crap I post.

It kicked in around 20 minutes ago, across FB and Instantgram.

The broken feature/error message is what took me to a Reddit thread where there were multiple reports of trouble in the last half hour.

Give it time and it will likely resolve.

from /. The three Meta-owned platforms aren't working for many users, with the widespread outage seeming to start around 10AM ET. Some users are experiencing issues logging in to their Meta Quest headsets, too. Facebook is logging users out of their accounts, leaving them unable to get back in. Meanwhile, over on Instagram, some users, including several of us at The Verge, can't refresh their feeds.
YouTube is down, too.

On Facebook I was in the middle of watching a video about bee colony removal when the video suddenly stopped and I was logged out. Big hiccough for them.
