I hate to point out, which party do you think most of the civilians in NSA belong to?

A gross generalization to be sure but my impression is that the majority of the rank and file of those 3 letter agencies are more conservative and Constitutional leaning. The problem is not that they seem to adhere to a particular political philosophy, but that they think they should be the kingmakers - or are willing to allow others to do so. Essentially they want to be able to pick friends to rule, expressly to avoid oversight and consequences. That needs to be crushed, brutally.

although I have run into some pretty incompetent and corrupt republicans who weren’t worth the powder to blow them to kingdom come
