Well, we’ve taken the plunge adopted a new cat. Please meet Lucy, aka Lucy Purrsley. She has to the vet on Monday for a check-up, so we should be able to bring her home early next week.

I see she prefers the 'cat bun' relaxation mode over the 'full sploot' or the 'side-lying pointy ends out' mode. Is the temperature running a bit cool?

Temperature was quite warm when I took that. She just likes making cat loaves.

Thankfully, AFAIK, the mouse came to no harm. Despite evidently being the dumbest mouse in the U.K. I mean, how stupid do you have to be to run towards a cat, multiple times!
