There's a bit of a fuss because TB is 50yo. I am listening to it. For the first and (it turns out) last time in my life. The title track is OK, I suppose but the rest of it sounds like an introvert noodling away in the studio (OK cheap shot). The other half decent track is Caveman which at least has energy, though it does sound a bit Wild Thing by the Troggs. But then the final track! The Sex Pistols version was better. I suppose my negativity might be affected by the knowledge that it founded the fortune of that smarmy wide-boy (with a beard and a knighthood these days).
John Peel, who had a pretty good sense for good music, thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, I'm really not getting it.
