Börje Salming died

Some of the hockey fans may remember him, he was a pretty big star back in his NHL days. Played 16 seasons for the Maple Leafs and then a final one for the Red Wings before he returned to Sweden.
He appeared at a Maple Leafs event in Toronto earlier in November and then at an event in Sweden last week. Both intended as sendoffs for him as it was becoming clear that he was deteriorating rapidly from ALS. He was 71 years old.
