...An update: the Independent(UK) says a Fall 2027 date has been set for Bond 26:

Make of it what you will. One delightful comment there suggests Jeremy Clarkson for M or Q, but I truly, TRULY think that James May would be a Q second only to Desmond Llewellyn himself.
