That’s an interesting setup. Is it for just the current brigade or planned for upcoming ones as well?

My understanding is that this type of BDE AD is planned for the (soon to be) three brigades that Parliament will authorize standing up tomorrow.

Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace has already got the sales pitch for the SHORAD system (now dubbed NOMADS - "National/Norwegian Manoeuvre Air Defence System") ready to go: https://www.kongsberg.com/kda/news/stor ... abilities/

Hot tip: If you haven't already, invest in KDA stocks. They've skyrocketed in the last year, and they're only going to get a lot more orders from the Norwegian government in the years to come, and probably other NATO and friendly nations as well.

KDA now wants to further develop NASAMS with anti-TBM capabilities, too, by integratign existing missiles and sensors into the NASAMS architecture. The government is considering this as one avenue to met the requirement for long-range air-defence stipulated in the Norwegian defence plans.

Bae is apparently in advanced negotiations to provide the Bofors Tridon Mk2 system to Sweden.

It’s essentially a 40 mm naval gun with attached fire control mounted on a lift hook truck bed, so it can be unloaded from the truck and placed on the ground.

From what I can gather this is not directly related to the brigade AD concept, perhaps more likely intended for airbase defense.
