ST: The Last Starship

Star Trek-based stories from Mike Kozlowski and others, set in Mike’s unique not-quite TOS, not-quite SFB but close enough to both ‘verse.

If we had a time machine and could take this back to 1989 as Star Trek V.bis, then I concur completely.

Unfortunately we don’t, and so all of the roles would have to be recast. That gets tricky because you have to find actors who look like Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley and Doohan, as they did in 1989, and lock the cast into essentially playing Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley and Doohan playing Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Scotty. It’s a different kettle of fish than say Paul Wesley and Ethan Peck playing much younger versions of said characters. It’s doable but very tricky.
