The Universe is two dimensional
A reasonably serious hypothesis that the actual universe is 2d and we live in a 3d projection of it. Produced by some quantum guys trying to reconcile with Einstein https://www.brandeis.edu/magazine/2024/ ... ogram.html

Nah, more likely to be reconciled via 'Teleparallel Gravity', for whose 'Twistors' Einstein lacked the math, so went with its simpler cousin, Relativity...
If you cannot see the wood for the trees, deploy LIDAR.
