Paramount
We got a free trial for Paramount a bit back, we're part way through it but haven't found anything that really shouts at us. I've glanced over some of the Trek stuff, but never been the biggest fan. Before we cancel it I was looking for recommendations, see if there might be anything worth messing with aside from going through the movies again.
Re: Paramount
1883 is a must see in my opinion
Re: Paramount
1983 is amazing.
Finestkind was damn good.
I'm currently watching Deadwood on Paramount too.

Re: Paramount
I am currently binging 1883. It has been quite some time that a series had me this emotionally invested.
It is a lot better than Yellowstone, IMO, which had that typical postmodern high asshole quotient that made it extremely hard to root for basically anybody. Make no mistake, James Dutton and Shea Brennan are absolute hardasses but not outright crimnals hiding behind the cowboy myth like the Dutton clan in Yellowstone.
By the way, it actually helps when foreign language speakers are played by actual native speakers. The actors playing Germans were actually German speakers, for example. And it instantly elevated the immersion factor.
PS: Are we absolutely sure Sam Elliott isn‘t really a living mustache piloting a human chassis for camouflage?

The relevant part starts at 17 seconds or so. I don't know how to make it start there.

Oh, of course! One of my kid's favorite shows back in the day.
Apparently, they're doing another two seasons! Unfortunately, the voice actor who played Ferb has gained some notoriety, and is therefore unaffordable.
