What's up Doc?
I went to visit the B-29 Doc Sunday and got a ride. Originally scheduled for 0900 it got pushed back to 1230, weather was beautiful. Once airborne I walked around a bit crawling back to the tail gun first then sitting in the right gunners seat and eventually getting the master gunner's seat. My seat didn't have a window. I did try to record the crew checklist command and responses but it's a long video just looking forward, currently only on my phone. We flew from Newport News-Williamsburg Airport (Patrick Henry airport) out over Langley AFB over the Chesapeake Bay to the eastern shore of Virginia and back. I loaded it on farcebook with photos and a couple videos, one from the tail and one from the master gunners station.
