...As I taught M2, history will always come back to bite you in the ass. 
We're still waiting here on a decision about the Confederate supply dump that got shoved into the Congaree River one very bad night in 1865. Everybody forgot about it, then to add insult to injury asphalt was dumped on top of it in the mid 20th century.. When that was discovered, the state decided to clean up the asphalt...and they found the CSA's last supply reserves, remarkably well preserved.
Along with a metric crapton of live ammo.
