I’ve seen other pics of it and have been reliably informed by people who know more than me, that it’s backwards. Are we not going to point and laugh at a man who fires a large-caliber sniper rifle from his hip?

I wouldn't fire it period since I like my shoulder too much. He was goofing off which stupid, but it appears he was going it safely.

With black hats, it's hard to tell anything about them. I saw him from an overhead angle and still can't tell.

Colder weather I switch to baseball style or a wide brim at by Coastline Hat, an Oz company. Looks like it's out of business.

It is. Nice and cool. Got luck and picked it up from a Western store going out of business in downtown San Antinio last October.

It's shooting stupid, but his form for firing a large caliber rifle from the hip is pretty good. Absorbing the recoil properly, little muzzle rise, and keeping control. There's a very low chance of bullets escaping the berm.

At around $3-$5 per shot, it's not like he can't afford it either. Hell, if I had a few billion, I might give it a go myself.
