RIP,

I first knew him from "The Great Escape" as the one that found the ingenious solution to the problem of moving the dirt.

A staple of my childhood watching that movie.

Reminds me a bit of when some elevator chat has klingons being brought up in "boston legal", and Dennis Crane (Shatner) walking away muttering "klingons?" to himself.

Seven degrees of seep fact - In the early part of the last century, my Great Grandfather played in a local orchestra with a certain David McCallum. Guess, who he was the father of? :)
