Re: Intruder: the A-6 at War
I was just reading through the Intruder Fact File, and I noticed it seems to say, or at least imply, that the KA-6H is using the "old engines", due to being based off of the EA-6B. Has it been re-engined with the same engine as the EA-6C and A-6F, or is it the lone aircraft still using the...

Re: Hello, everyone!
Any word on the old chapters? So, I've gone back and basically clicked through each "chapter page" from "1-103" through to about 171, and most of them are clickable, and I've saved the page to my computer. I only saved the page with the chapter on it, not the whole thing, and se...

Re: Information on the USN
I was browsing over on SpaceBattles, and in response to a question in the "War Room Questions Thread", there was a link to the missile loadouts from first commissioning (of the non-VLS ships) through about 2018, of both the Ticonderoga-class and the Arleigh Burke-class ships. I then found,...

Re: US Naval Aviation
I was referring specifically to the late 1980s, to the early 1990s, around when Clinton was elected, and things were calming down, as the "more heated time". I mean, while things were tense during the 1980s, then things seemed to be getting much better, substantially, up to and including t...

Re: US Naval Aviation
S-3 was a useful asset. It could have done more if more were produced. Interestingly, in the early @ 1990s, Lockheed proposed new-build KS-3B tankers to the Navy, but the Navy wasn't interested. So Lockheed at least believed an air frame restart was possible as late as the early 1990s. The aircraft...

Re: The Last War: 357.
Something else occurred to me, in regards to the attack on the unnamed VIP and the hospital. I can't recall the name of the hospital, but it occurred to me that if they're bringing him there, due to injuries needing him to be hospitalized, it's likely that other VIPs were brought there, as well. Yes...

Re: The Last War: 357.
In regards to any CP Support Duties by the Foot Guards, I was limiting that only to the Royal Family, due to the above varying other duties, plus the stretching of available AFOs, and so on. I doubt they would be the lead in any such usage, but having a basic CP Capability, to support Met Armed Poli...

See below for what is theoretically available from the Army. From the British Army Wartime ORBAT Home Forces & Strategic Reserve London District. (H.Q Horse Guards) Royal Duties Force - Wellington Barracks [NOTE 5] London District Mounted Squadron, RMP 323 Squadron (R), Royal Logistics Corps. 5...

Re: The Last War: 357.
In regards to the attack on the "unnamed Royal/VIP", and the availability, or lack thereof, of AFOs, I had a small thought. Firstly, I'm not commenting on the AFOs, simply because I really don't know enough about it. That being said, one thought I did have, is there's a large pool of guys,...

Personally, I think I joined the Old, Old Board after all of that went down, since I didn't even get into the TBO-Verse until the previous Board, with the story dealing with Alexander's Generals. That being said, the thing I noticed on a previous re-reading of the story, was one of the, I can't reca...

Re: The Vaults of Heaven (AU)
OOC: Sophie obviously doesn’t realise exactly how lucky she got there — or how much Ivan helped her out on Day One. One can only presume that the McClane family were all in New York on Day One and had ringside seats when that SS-N-16(?) initiated, because otherwise, the Nakatomi operation could’ve ...

I don't know why, but I never pictured Sophie Henrix as being blonde. For some reason, I tended to picture her and Adam more as brunettes/brown hair.jemhouston wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 9:46 pm Speaking of hot blondes blowing things up, what's USAF Major Samantha Carter doing about now?

I'm starting to get the feeling that a certain "Cylon Number 6 Lover" has just f*cked up, bigtime. I wonder whether or not he realizes Josh has actually met him, just before the balloon went up and the war started.

So, I'm wondering whether the conspirators know that Mantell is the other MOH "winner", at the same ceremony, or if they're assuming he's simply disliked and on the outs with Marine Leadership, so he looks like a good scapegoat to them. Separately, I'm wondering whether the Nazis realize t...

- How does the US and the wider world view nuclear proliferation in RDverse? Because in @, the US screwed with Sea Harrier spares after the @ 1998 nuclear tests. I don't know about nuclear tests, but overall, the US and UK pretty much have a "no tolerance" standard regarding WMDs, in gene...

So what’d you think of the Commandant’s statement confirming your information, Poohbah? The part where he took the hit for the Corps allowing White to be in a position to access blank DD-214s was important. We all have a responsibility to secure documents like that, to prevent stuff like this from ...

So, the conversation flowed to the '24 sheriff election, and she mentioned that the Pocatello PD Chief could win. Then she mentioned his name. A name that if I had never heard it again, it would be too soon. I'm going to check him out to rule in or rule out that it's the same guy. I'll be honest, w...

Re: Boeing thinks its finally cracked the code About Time
What I find really sad in all of this is Boeing has been making refueling aircraft for years, while Airbus is relatively new to the "refueling aircraft market", especially compared to Boeing. However, Airbus has also already solved and fielded the remote viewing system for refueling, and m...
