Here's a question: Was there an actual backup facility in another location for MCC? Today they have a couple of standbys like in Huntsville. I also know the Marshall center had their own ops room where they had more detailed monitoring of the Saturn V then what Houston was handling. Like they knew ...

You have to love any movie where mine warfare is a major plot point. Not to mention that they managed the very rare trick of being ahead of me on a technical issue. You have to love any movie where mine warfare is a major plot point. Not to mention that they managed the very rare trick of being ahead of me on a technical issue. (And by very rare, I can't think of another movie that has done it in, oh, the last decade.)
