Re: Japanese team claims structure found under Giza plateau

Note: This shouldn’t be confused with the much more…wild claims of radar enabled finds underneat the Giza plateau by an Italian team a few months ago. This report appears to be a bit less fantastical. Archaeologists Found an ‘Anomaly’ Near the Pyramids That May Reveal an Ancient Portal New findings...

Re: Late 1940s pocket pistol and derringer taking same ammunition...

How long did the .25 take to get it's reputation as anemic? One incident in the US back in the 1920s. A homeowner mag-dumped a burglar and hit him 5 times with .25 ACP. The burglar proceeded to beat the living crap out of the homeowner and calmly finished robbing the place. Was the burglar’s name “...

I've been thinking about buying a Sig 320, I think I'll wait.
I thought about it too but the reports have been too numerous for comfort.

I think I’ll stick with my Beretta

Re: Immaculate Constellation

Count me “slightly skeptical” that an Italian media outlet would have any real story on how highly classified “burn before read” type programs are being managed in the US.

Especially with sensationalist reporting about extraterrestrial technology exploitation

Ours have similar problems.

FedEx in particular regularly drops my stuff at various locations. Their photos of “proof of delivery” are generally “proof of mis-delivery”

I won’t use FedEx anymore and tell others not to

Re: Assessment of Russian Strategic Aviation...

The Russian armed forces are getting stretched a bit thin. That's a pretty thin Strategic Aviation. Although I noticed they didn't include the Backfire fleet in their numbers. But we know those are getting a bit thin also. The Grind (as described elsewhere) is grinding the Russians down to size as w...

Re: Well, as bad as the USN procurement and overhaul is.....

I think they’ve missed an awful lot in that article. It doesn’t help that they keep talking to VADM Norman, who is the living proof that someone can be both unjustly seen off and a sh*tpump at the same time. Naval procurement in Canada is usually an example of what not to do. Even when we get somet...

Re: Immaculate Constellation

With everything else going on I haven’t had much time for this topic lately, but I saw something interesting just now. Ross Coulthart said in an interview that he now knows ”categorically” that the famed ”tic tac” UAP that the US Navy aviators encountered and documented in 2004 is in fact ”Lockheed...

Lots of grass and cars on deck there? On the Midway? No, my former residence is now a museum in San Diego Harbor. I wonder if your office is still there? The Ready Room is! The E-2 Ready Room has been renovated into a great museum about the Hummer squadrons and the people. The Association raised th...

Re: Let's play other names for military installations

Point of order. Why not, Minot was not a name for the installation. It was the tourist bureau ad campaign slogan. It’s Freezin’s the Reason (From my Northern Tier experienced crewmates on my Offutt tour. I was glad that I didn’t join them for that particular adventure. They commented that us Navy s...

Re: US Navy News

Perhaps something similar to the old Lend Lease program where we lease someone else’s old ships in exchange for tariff relief…. I suspect the only navy who might be interested are the PLAN - for the various allied countries public acceptability of such a deal would be near-zero, while the PLA "...
